Lopez-Trevino, who maintains over five hundred thousand followers across her Instagram and Snapchat accounts, was taken into custody without incident at her Venus, Texas residence. She was transported to Ellis County Jail for booking on the outstanding warrants, which had been issued in November.
The social media creator has frequently drawn controversy online for discussing in explicit detail her preference to date inmates. Following her arrest, Lopez-Trevino bonded out of county jail after posting fifteen thousand dollars bond.
In an expired Snapchat post following her release, Lopez-Trevino appeared to be laughing as she left the jail facility. She told her followers she had retained an attorney and planned to visit a casino. Lopez-Trevino stated, "I'm going to fight this. I have a lawyer."
The Venus Police Department confirmed Lopez-Trevino had active felony warrants from the Ellis County Sheriff's Office at the time of her arrest. The specific nature of the felony charges has not been disclosed by authorities. A representative noted the warrants had no connection to Lopez-Trevino's social media activities.
Following her release, Lopez-Trevino resumed posting content to her social media platforms, telling followers, "She's free. She's out."
