JADEVEON CLOWNEY BUSTED FOR SHOCKING PARKING LOT INCIDENT

Welcome to Arrest Stories. NFL veteran Jadeveon Clowney was arrested in his hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina on September twelfth for trespassing and failure to identify himself during a parking dispute at an apartment complex. Here's what may have happened.

The thirty-two-year-old linebacker found himself in handcuffs just days before signing with the Dallas Cowboys, following what began as a simple parking issue near a high school football game. According to police reports, Clowney attempted to park at Dunbar Place Apartments on Constitution Boulevard, claiming he was there to visit his aunt who lived in the complex.

An off-duty officer was stationed at the location specifically to prevent unauthorized parking during the District Three stadium football game. When the officer directed Clowney away from the restricted lot toward an overflow parking area where other vehicles were being accommodated, the situation quickly escalated.

Police reports indicate Clowney became argumentative when told he couldn't park in the apartment complex lot. The report states that Clowney "immediately became very argumentative and questioned the reporting officers' authority to tow his vehicle, but did not allow the reporting officer to explain his authority to do so, instead interrupting the officer as he attempted to explain."

The former South Carolina Gamecock "indicated that he was probably going to the football game" but maintained he was visiting family at the apartments. Despite repeated warnings and direction to use alternative parking, Clowney allegedly parked in the restricted area anyway.

The situation worsened when officers requested identification. According to the police report, the "reporting officer requested Clowney's identification at least twice during the incident which Clowney repeatedly refused to provide." He continued speaking over the officer while the trespass warning was being issued.

Clowney was ultimately arrested on two misdemeanor charges. The former NFL star, who was released by the Carolina Panthers in May, addressed the incident saying, "Man, that's been going on my whole life down there. It ain't nothing new. Just move on from it. I'm here now."

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
